Fees and Insurance
In order to set realistic treatment goals and priorities with a client, it is important to evaluate what resources they have to pay for their treatment. If you have a health insurance policy, it will usually provide some coverage for mental health treatment. It is very important that you find out exactly what mental health services your insurance policy covers before your first appointment. If you have any questions about your coverage, call your plan administrator who can answer all your questions.

Clients must be aware that submitting a mental health invoice for reimbursement carries a certain amount of risk. In order for a psychotherapist to receive payment from an insurance company, they are required to provide a clinical diagnosis and other confidential information to the insurance company for review and approval of services. This information is maintained permanently and may be later disclosed in various situations, affecting your future insurability. To avoid these risks, clients always have the right to pay for services themselves. Those who do pay out-of-pocket tend to be more invested, are more committed, and put more effort into change throughout the therapeutic process.
Payment
Payment is due at time of service. Cash, check, or credit card is accepted.
